Each engraved slate coaster is hand hewn from natural slate ensuring a unique finish.

As slate can be fragile, the hand hewn edges mask the possibility of chipping and some slight crumbling can be expected.

Precision cut slate, with smooth edging, is available on request at an additional cost.

Soft padded feet on the base prevent marking.

I leave the slate unsealed/untreated with an aim to reduce the suction effect from condensation on a glass.  You are welcome to seal your coasters, a quality olive oil is all you need.
